OUR QUALITY

Our steel comes from mills all over the world, including Southeast Asia, Spain, China, Australia, as well as using local steel from New Zealand. Quality is our team's core value and ensuring the highest quality products and services is essential in everything we do.

To meet the strict requirements of the New Zealand Building Code (AS/NZS4671: 2019 Code of Compliance), all of our suppliers are ACRS-approved mills.

We also recently gained the following ISO certifications: ISO 9001 for our approved quality management system; ISO 45001 for our approved management system for occupational health and safety; and ISO 14001 for our approved environmental management system.

Our on-site laboratory:

To ensure we deliver the highest quality to our customers, we developed a state-of-the-art laboratory to thoroughly test all our products directly on-site. The lab is accredited by IANZ and operated according to ISO 17025: 2018.

Our team uses tensile testing to analyse the mechanical properties and behaviours of steel when subjected to tensile forces, which shows us how the steel will perform and provides valuable insights for engineering and construction purposes.

The steel testing examines yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, elongation, modulus of elasticity and fracture behaviour under tensile loads to understand failure mechanisms.

We have also invested in cutting-edge equipment, including a range of hydraulic and electromechanical testing machines capable of subjecting steel to various levels of tensile stress, advanced strain measurement devices, and data acquisition systems to ensure accurate and comprehensive data.

Want to collaborate with us?

While we specialise in steel tensile testing, we’re happy to work with researchers, engineers and any other industries that use steel in their projects. We are very open to partnerships that can expand the applications of our research.
